This is our first instalment of episodes from the last phase of the How to Study Germany Podcast.
In this episode, we have Sanjiv. Sanjiv is a student from Nepal doing his Masters in Management and Data Science at Leuphana University. He brings a diverse and interesting perspective having done his undergraduate studies in the USA for 6 years. He tells us about the challenges of bureaucracy as he was moving from Nepal and the culture shock he experienced once he got to Germany. Furthermore, he highlights his reason for not only his studies, but also why he chose to study at Leuphana. He details the ease of application and the diversity of academic backgrounds within his degree.Towards the end he gives us a summary of the differences between higher learning in the USA and in Germany. The podcast episode finishes off with general tips for students, especially when it comes to a work/life balance.
